5 Simple Financial Planning Truths

1. If it sounds to good to be true, it is.
2. Trust your instincts, and ask lots of questions.
3. If you do not understand an advisor's recommendation, don't take their advice.
4. Do not succomb to pressure - a good advisor will not pressure you to buy - they are supposed to be selling advice, right?
5. Follow the money - the person paying the commission is the person directing your finances.
